Getting Started
New patients can come to us in two ways — through a referral from a healthcare provider, or by reaching out to us directly. Either way, the process begins with a call or message to our office. Our administrative team will gather some basic information about your symptoms and get you scheduled for an initial assessment.
What to Expect at Your First Appointment
Your first visit is a comprehensive evaluation. Our clinicians will review your medical and dental history, discuss your symptoms in detail, and conduct a thorough examination of your jaw joints, head, neck, and facial region. X-rays are typically taken at this appointment, and additional imaging may be recommended depending on your presentation. By the end of your visit, you will have a clearer understanding of your condition and a personalized plan for moving forward.
As a specialized pain clinic, we are committed to giving every patient the time and attention they deserve. Appointments are thorough and unhurried, so we kindly ask that you allow extra time in your schedule for your visit. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
What to Bring
Prior to your appointment, you will receive health history forms to complete and return to our office. Please ensure these are filled out and submitted before your visit, as they help us prepare for your appointment. On the day of your appointment, please bring any relevant dental or medical records, any existing imaging such as X-rays, CT, or MRI reports, and any oral appliance you are currently wearing.
